Yamato is calm and clever, he prefers solo missions with difficult targets. On double missions he is best suited with Lysander and Tye.
Instead of chatting with the other members, Yamato prefers reading in a small handheld book. It has even started an inside joke about him reading difficult cleverness itself to get smarter. Even Yamato cant help but chuckle at this. Yamato communicates with the lower floors than any other assassin.
